Online Rota and Scheduling System - Keep Me On Time - www.kmot.co.uk

by Ross Buggins31. August 2012 11:35
The last few years has seen us spend much time developing an Online Staff Rota System, primarily for licensing to the University of East Anglia’s (UEA) Student Union Bars and Clubs. More and more features have been added to the scheduling system, and we are now happily at the point where we are ready to roll the system out to new customers outside of UEA. The public web site for the rota, Keep Me On Time, is now up and running. To Quote from our case study: We have developed a product, Keep Me On Time (KMOT), an online scheduling solution that is specifically designed to make the management of casual workforces a simple matter. It empowers your employees to manage their own work interactions with you, from signing up for available shifts, swapping shifts and the process of completing timesheets and exporting this data to a finance department. Full paper trails of employee actions and use are available and a reporting suite enables you to view working hours and cost projections quickly and easily. You can generate and agree all your staff payment and timesheet information online. Export the data when you want it, eliminate paper forms and waiting for staff to complete their information. Get in touch with us via the kmot contact page to get a free trial today.

Expertise at Shore Tech Systems

by Ross Buggins31. July 2009 20:27
Data Acquisition With continual growth in the quantity of data being stored by organisations, there is an ever growing demand to centralise the structure of these data repositories. Shore Tech Systems have expertise in harvesting data from crawling both the public World Wide Web and internally within a business. With ever increasing network and processing speeds now is the obvious time to find out how gathering data could open up new benefits to you. Web Services Connecting your future business IT requirements together with defined Web Services will provide you with the flexibility and assurances far above the expected. Seamless integration within your organisation and externally will allow you to drive forward to deliver new systems with ease. With the worry of connectivity removed from the equation you can focus on what is really important to your future. Data Mining Identifying patterns within your data allows for a transformation into usable business information and knowledge. With the power of knowledge an organisation can determine the current positives and also the negatives, allowing for thorough scrutinisation and discovery of new ways to move forward. As more data becomes available to mine the accuracy of the information exposed can only increase. Web Applications A web application is more than just a web site. The two terms are often used interchangeably but the demand for web applications with new functionality continues to push the boundaries of Web 2.0 to new limits. Exploited properly, Web Applications will create an effective, and more importantly, unique, application and open a worldwide gateway into your business. Distributed processing When business procedures or complex algorithms would take too long to process with a conventional infrastructure design, a distributed system may allow for the performance increase that is needed. The overall run time can be significantly reduced by dividing a complete problem domain into discrete tasks that are able to run in parallel. Mobile Platforms Mobile devices are a natural extension to your current business platform. By empowering employees and customers with the ability to access your services from mobile devices you widen your business reach. Many mobile software applications are enhanced through the use of Location Based Services and SMS gateways to allow for a ubiquitous experience with existing technology and exploiting the user’s surroundings.
